Tier 3 prepares advanced students for real-world music creation, artist development, and professional release.
Tier 1: Foundations in Music Production
Learn the basics of setting up a home or studio workspace Explore Soundtrap (cloud-based DAW) for recording and arranging Understand the elements of a song (melody, rhythm, harmony, lyrics) Intro to recording vocals and instruments Complete your first original project to share with family and friends

Laptop or Chromebook (basic specs are fine)
Headphones (closed-back preferred)
Soundtrap subscription (provided through class) Internet connection

Tier 2: Studio Production Workflow
Transition into Pro Tools (industry-standard software) Learn advanced recording techniques for clarity and balance Intro to mixing and effects (EQ, compression, reverb, etc.) Develop a personalized workflow for making full tracks Collaborate with peers virtually to create and share music
